A public hearing regarding the closure of Boreman Elementary School will be held tonight in the Tyler Consolidated auditorium at 6pm. Doors open at 5:00. The hearing will be live streamed on the Tyler County Schools YouTube channel. The Central Office has fielded many calls regarding tonight's event, and has made plans to accommodate the large crowd that is expected. Limited parking is available out back. Please reserve those spots for folks who need to avoid stairs; if you do park out back, please park in marked spots to allow traffic to safely move in the area. Doors #18 or #20 will be open in the back of the school. If possible, please utilize the lower lots or front circle parking spots. Those parking in the front circle are asked to not park in the grass. Enter on the Middle School side and through the auditorium lobby. If you need handicap access, please call 304-771-8646, 304-771-8314, or 304-771-0141 once you arrive to Tyler Consolidated. The gymnasiums and commons areas will be utilized for overflow seating if necessary. A live stream from the auditorium will be shown in those areas. Delegations wishing to speak at the hearing must be signed in by 5:45. Delegations will present in order of sign-in and will be given 10 minutes to speak.

On January 22, 2025 all Tyler County Schools are closed for all students due to extreme cold and secondary road conditions. Staff to report on a 2 hour delay. Snow packet day # 4 !!!
