A variety of changes have been made to the state attendance policy. Updates are currently being made to the county policy to reflect the changes. As a way to educate staff, students and families of the changes, a weekly post will be made on the county website. Due to a water main issue at Tyler Consolidated High School there will be no summer food or summer school Monday, July 1st. Lunches will still be delivered to Sistersville Park and Mccormick Greene apartments.

Attention: After receiving a call from the WVSSAC this morning, I have to revise my open house post. The WVSSAC received calls from Magnolia High School that by having the word COACHES in our Open House post that we are trying to recruit their athletes. That was not Tyler County Schools intent, our intent is to inform prospective students of all the great academic and extracurricular activities available at Tyler County Schools.

Tyler Consolidated High School and Tyler Consolidated Middle School will be having an open house Thursday, July 11th, from 5-7pm for any Paden City or other prospective student considering transferring to Tyler Consolidated for the 2024-25 school year. Club advisors, teachers, counselors, and other staff will be there to answer any questions you may have. There will be tours of the facility provided by current students after a short meeting in the auditorium. If you have questions prior to the open house please call (304) 758-2145. #KnightsPride
Mr. Jennings, TC Band Director, will be at the July 11th Open House event to answer any questions by prospective MS and HS band members and parents. New marching band members will still be accepted for the 2024-2025 school year. The July band calendar is attached.
