Mrs. Wright’s Discover Your Future class is finishing up the Finance career cluster by playing the Game of Life!

For Constitution Day, Mrs. Watts and Mrs. Boso set up an escape room in the STEAM lab for their 8th grade ELA classes. Once briefed on the case, students had to work in small groups sorting through clues and puzzles related to the U.S. Constitution to determine a 4 digit locker code and the correct answers to an assignment. Many groups were able to beat the 35 minute timer!

It is with deep sadness that we inform our school community of the loss of one of our students. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the Pratt family during this incredibly difficult time. Please keep the Pratt family in your thoughts and prayers.

We would like to congratulate the following 6th grade students on being the first to complete the "Catch My Breath" program in Mr. Weber's health class! Catch My Breath is a youth vaping education program to educate students on the dangers of e-cigarettes and nicotine addiction. It also provides teachers with evidence-based resources to help students make informed decisions about this topic.

A huge shoutout to NJHS and Student Council for putting together our first school dance of the year, with a School Spirit theme! The turnout was incredible, and our students had an amazing time. We’re already excited for our next one, the Snowball Dance, coming up on January 17th! #KnightsPride

Mrs. Boso’s Discover Your Future class toured the TCHS broadcasting facility today to learn about Arts, Audio/Visual Technology, and Communication. Students learned what courses they can take in high school and what career options could be available in this field of study.

ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
Reminder for tonight’s dance: Parking is available in the front circle, and entry will be through the middle school stairs. A parent or guardian listed on the student’s emergency card must sign them in and out. If a student is arriving or leaving with another parent, a note from their parent/guardian granting permission is required. Please remember, all school rules apply during the dance. Cell phones will be collected at the sign-in table and returned at sign-out. This is to ensure safety during the dance, and to promote social interaction among our students. Don't forget to wear school colors! #KnightsPride
