Boreman's 2nd graders had a couple of special guests today. Local author Brian Croasmun and his tortoise friend Little Kevin. Brian read the book he wrote "Little Kevin Wants a Birthday", and he will return to sign books for the students to keep.

Over the weekend AIB was represented at the West Virginia Art Education Association’s Youth Art Month Show at the Parkersburg Art Center. Ella Strode, Elisia Haught, and Tinsley Stevens all had work on display. Ella received 2nd place in the 3-D category for her sculpture entitled "Dancing Penguin." Tinsley received 2nd place in the drawing category for her oil pastel entitled "Pumpkin Patch", and Elisia earned 3rd placed in the painting category for her marker print entitled "Backsplash." Their work will travel to Charleston, WV, to take part in the annual Arts Alive showcase on April 26. Congratulations, Bobcats!!!
